Leland and Joe talk about the meltdown in Blacksburg, UVA's loss to Notre Dame and discusses upcoming games. The guys also talk about NFL and MLB in the A Block. Leland with help from Patrick Hite interviews the Fort Defiance volleyball coach Sue Leonard. 

Hey it's Episode 58 and this week the guys talk about Draft's big win over Clarke and East Rock taking down Gap as well as some other HS football action from the weekend. Wilson volleyball continues to roll as Riverheads and Fort Defiance keep up the pace with them at the top of the Shenandoah District. Leland and Joe discuss what they expect in the next week's games for the area schools before moving on to a pedestrian win for VT football and UVA won like they should have. The guys also talk about big games around the country before diving into MLB and NFL. Mike Phillips comes on to talk Redskins and the guys tell you about VT soccer and more in the D Block

The guys talk about the opening weekend of HS football in Augusta County, who looked good, who has work to do, and if opinions changed from the preseason. Leland and Joe break down the mess that is VT football and mention the UVA victory over Pitt. Mike Barber comes in to provide even more in depth analysis of the UVA win and VT defeat from this weekend and Joe wants to know if Fuente is out or safe. The guys close the podcast as they usually do with what's dominating their lives and what they know that you need to know.

Joe shares his trip to Baltimore to see the Orioles win 2 against the Rays who are in a playoff race despite the Orioles being bad for baseball. We bring Matt Hatfield to talk Class 1,2, and 3C football as well as the recruiting landscape for VT and UVA football. The guys close it out with what's dominating their lives and what they know that they need to know.

This week Joe and Leland celebrate 1 year of the YAC Sports Podcast by revisiting some old debates, telling you what they got right and what they got wrong from last year, and bringing on the creator of the YAC Sports Podcast intro Graham Cash. Graham tells us why LeBron is better than Jordan (He's not), but quickly gets Joe back on the Grahamwagon with his discussion of school fandom and the push for a 16 team playoff. Finally Joe and Leland tell you what dominated their year and what they learned both in sports and life.
