The guys end the podcast the same way they do every week...trying to take over the WORLD!!!

This week the guys lead off talking about the death of Kobe Bryant, we also talk about boys and girls HS hoops in Augusta County. JMU men still losing, while VT and UVA both may join JMU on the outside looking in if they don't right the ship soon. Cody Elliott talks VT hoops, football, and even some East Rock basketball. Finally the guys talk MLB HOF and Super Bowl.

Episode 74

This week the guys talk about the district season starting for boys and girls hoops in Augusta County before shifting to college basketball. Joe still doesn't like Fuente and John Leonard comes on to talk about the ever evolving MLB cheating scandals with the Astros and perhaps other teams. All this and even a little NBA and NHL talk at the end on YAC Sports.

We're back talking HS hoops. We also recap the FCS and FBS National Championships before moving to college hoops. Joe and Leland wrap things up by talking about the Astros and Red Sox scandals.

Episode 72

This week Joe and Leland talk about Waynesboro looking for a new football coach, the start of boys and girls basketball in Augusta County, and project what they expect to see the rest of the year. Then things take a turn when recapping the Belk Bowl loss for the Hokies and the Orange Bowl loss for UVA. They do a light preview of the College Football Playoff Championship and the FCS Championship preview is done with the help of TV3's TJ Eck. All this plus NFL, NCAA Hoops, and more.

This week the guys talk about the start of HS hoops and wrestling in Augusta County. Joe and Leland also talk about the NCAA Football semis, preview tomorrow's VT vs Kentucky Belk Bowl, and a little NFL talk before looking at NCAA basketball and closing out with a year recap. Joe and Leland recap the Class 1 and Class 2 VHSL Football State Championship games. Talk about Riverheads tying the record for most consecutive state championships in football and Draft hanging with Appomattox for most of the game. Joe has a problem with the clock operator and Leland has a problem with the attitude of some players. Patrick Hite talks about what he saw during the games Saturday looks ahead to next year and gives us a little hoops preview. All this and more on the YAC Sports Podcast.

This week the guys talk about Augusta County punching 2 tickets to Salem on Saturday. Riverheads rolled Essex and Draft drilled Thomas Jefferson on their way to hopefully claiming state titles this coming Saturday. We preview the upcoming matchups by talking to Craig Worrell for Galax and Ben Cates for Appomattox. Joe and Leland also talk about where VT and UVA will be playing bowl games as well as a peak into the college football playoff before college hoops and NFL talk.
